Happy Wednesday friends! Welcome back to the latest instalment of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds. This meme is super easy to do, as all you’ve got to do is answer the sacred Three W’s:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
The answers to 2/3 questions will most likely not surprise you at all if you’ve seen my previous posts, but for all you newbies out there, this one’s for you! 😉
Currently reading: A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab. I just started reading this yesterday and already I’m being emotionally wrecked. I’m only 54 pages in, too! I can only imagine how crazy this book is going to get as it’s nearly driven me to tears TWICE already. I just want everything to be okay for my precious characters!
Recently finished: A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab. This book was very enjoyable, though some parts were a little slower than the first book. I’ll have a full review of this book posted this Friday so tune in for that!
Next read: Melody’s Key by Dallas Coryell and Caraval by Stephanie Garber or This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab. You’re probably looking at that wondering “what in the world?!” But fear not, fair blogmates! Melody’s Key was sent to me by the author for review and I plan on reading a book for fun alongside that. I haven’t decided if I want to read Caraval next or keep riding the Schwab train with This Savage Song. Can you all help me choose because I am the queen of indecision!
What’s your current read? What’s next on your reading list? You know I’d love to hear about it so leave me a little comment below!
Until next time,
-K
I am trying to catch up with reviews just so that I can read A Gathering of Shadows, I hear its better than ADSOM. &&& I haven’t read Caraval yet (so tempted, sitting on shelf lol) but This Savage Song was SO GOOD! for lack of a better description LOL smh 😉

Catching up on reviews can be such a difficult and daunting task! I often get behind and there are definitely some reviews that have fallen through the cracks for me haha. I say go ahead and read AGoS because it is great! I’ll actually have a review of that up tomorrow 😉 And I can’t wait to read TSS! It’s written by Schwab so it must be amazing!

I’m trying to stay on top of the crushing arc pile, but my bestie keeps telling me “slow & steady wins the race” 😂😂😂 oh that’s great! I’ll be sure to stop by your corner of the internet tomorrow…non-spoiler review? Lol. TSS was Ssoooo frikkin good, read that while listening to Violin instrumental (weird like that lol) & it set the mood 🤣…serious though😉

Oh the ARC pile! I still have an ARC I received a month ago that I haven’t finished because Shades of Magic happened 😂🙈but I get ya, those always feel like a lot of pressure to me! And yes, the review will be spoiler-free! I try to warn people in my post title if it’s got spoilers too 😉ooh I bet that helped set the mood! I’ll have to do that when I read it because I love instrumental music! That’s such a good suggestion, I never would’ve thought of doing that ☺️

Depends what you are feeling! This Savage Song is a solid urban fantasy. Caraval is less magic and more mystery and suspense (but there is some magic 😉 ). Both were good!

Hmm, I’m so conflicted! Right now, I’m leaning towards Caraval but who knows how I’ll feel after I finish ACOL! Thanks for your help! 🙂

I would probably choose Caraval 😊 but you won’t be able to put it down, so be prepared!

Ooh that is just what I want! Okay, I might be sold on Caraval now haha! I also really love The Night Circus and Caraval has been compared to that so I feel like I’m bound to love it too 🙂
