Happy Wednesday blogosphere! Welcome back to this week’s instalment of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds. It seems I only do these once a month but that’s mainly because I can be quite the slow reader so I didn’t want to show you all that I was STILL reading the same book I mentioned in a previous post. So without further ado, I shall answer the Three W’s:

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. I actually started reading this a few weeks ago and I’m still not done…but in my defence, I finished two other books since I started that one and I’m hoping to finish it this week! It’s pretty good so far, though it’s leaning to towards the “completely predictable” so we will see how it goes.

Just Finished

This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab and Reason Number One by Briston Brooks. It took me over a month to read TSS (mainly because I was reading other books at the same time) but it was so good! I will have a review for that up soon. I also finished RNO in two days which is nothing short of a miracle for me! It was AMAZING!! I’ll have a gushing review of that up soon too! I can’t wait to share my thoughts on these books with you all!

What’s Next

Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab. After the CRAZY ending of TSS, it is a must that I read the sequel (and conclusion) to the Monsters of Verity series! I have a very strong feeling that this book will wreck me but I’M READY!

What is your reading week looking like? Have you read any of these books? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Until next time,

-K

  1. I just picked up When Dimple Met Rishi over the weekend & have heard from other bloggers that it’s a good read but just as you mentioned it’s predictable. Holding off for a little bit, just until I need a palette cleanser from Fantasy lol. I read Our Dark Duet this month & ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! broke me in true Schwab fashion but oh so good! I’m currently half way through with The Last Magician & loving it as well. Happy reading 🙂

    1. Hahaha yes sometimes you need a palette cleanser from fantasy novels (that’s me all the time 😂) I loved Reason Number One SO MUCH that I’m having a hard time getting back into Dimple but hopefully I’ll like it when I get back into the swing of it. Ahhh so excited for ODD! For the most part, I’ve heard really good things about it so I’m sure I’ll love it too! Ooh i need to add Last Magician to my list seeing that you’re loving it! Happy reading to you to ☺️

      1. Haha! I’ve been getting into more contemporary ever since I fell in love with YA Fantasy. It’s so easy to get genre burn/out 😂 I completely understand those pesky book hangovers 🙄 on the one one hand it’s great cuz you just read what you feel is the MOST amazing book ever. & then there’s the realization that you’ve finished the book and nothing can top that greatness 😂 I hope you’re able to find the book to get you through it 😉 will be on the lookout for your thoughts on ODD & The Last Magician is def going to be a Gush review for me 🙌🏼💗📚💗

      2. Yes same here! I used to only occasionally read contemporary and I would read fantasy/dystopian ALL THE TIME but now it seems just the opposite has happened 🙃 😂 I’ve gone back to reading more of When Dimple Met Rishi (which I’m liking more now, btw!) and it’s helping me get through my book hangover 🙌🏾 ooh can’t wait to see your review of Last Magician! Gushing reviews are always so fun to write!

      1. Hahahaha it seems like the only way to get you to read one will be for some to give one to you 😂😂there’s so many good ones out there to choose from! I feel like I need to make you a list so you don’t choose a bad one that’ll make you hate the genre forever 😂😂😉

    1. Yes you understand my struggle, Lindsey! I only do them when I feel like I’ve actually made some progress. I’ll probably do one this week, seeing as I always end up doing one the 3rd week of the month, and I’ve actually read things so YAY!
